During
his third year of law school, Attorney Carey was granted the opportunity
to participate in an Internship Program at the Cumberland County
District Attorney's Office. While working as an Assistant District
Attorney Intern, Attorney Carey prosecuted numerous criminal misdemeanor
cases and countless traffic violation matters in Portland District
Court, Bridgton District Court, West Bath District Court and Cumberland
Superior Court. Attorney Carey also spend a significant amount
of time working in the Juvenile Unit during his internship.
Prior
to forming The Carey Law Firm, P.A., Attorney Carey practice at
the law firm of Chester & Vestal, P.A. While at Chester &
Vestal, Attorney Carey honed his skills in
Juvenile and Criminal Defense. Attorney Carey has successful defended
all types of juvenile and criminal cases including but not limited
to: gross sexual assault; aggravated trafficking in schedule drugs,
burglary, robbery, domestic violence assaults and operating under
the influence.
