Attorney
Carey began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney
Intern at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office
in Portland, Maine. During his internship he prosecuted Criminal,
Juvenile and Civil cases, and traffic matters out of all four
of the Cumberland County Courts.
After completing his
internship at the District Attorney’s Office, Attorney Carey
joined the Portland law firm of Chester & Vestal as an Associate
Attorney.
In 2006, Attorney Carey
left Chester & Vestal to form The Carey Law Firm, P.A. with
his wife and law partner, Jennifer A. Carey. The firm specializes
in Juvenile Defense, Criminal Defense and Child Protective matters.
Attorney
Carey has successfully defended all types of Juvenile and Criminal
cases including, but not limited to, Arson, Robbery, Gross Sexual
Assault, Aggravated Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, Burglary,
Domestic Violence Assault, and Operating Under the Influence.
